Description:
Fourteen is a site specific large scale stainless steel public artwork, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. This sculpture measuring at 20' from the ground was commissioned by the City of Mountain View, through Merlone Geier Partners. This iconic piece sits as a memorialization of William Shockley's invention of the silicon transistor, and to mark the birth place of the computer industry.
