Description:
Steven's Tree is an abstract large scale sculpture reaching 15ft in height. It's skin is created from overlapping Corten steel tiles giving it another dimension. Seating for six is provided around the perimeter allowing the public to relax and engage in the artwork. The leaves contain embedded recycled glass rocks that work to reflect the sun's energy. Steven's Tree was created through the use of percent for art funds administered by the artist on behalf of Merlone Geier Partners and approved by the City of Petaluma.
