Description:
Twisted Journey is one of 13 sculptures developed for The University Village, in Sacramento, Ca. The skin is formed using 3/4" and 1/2" steel rods which twist and overlap each other, giving the sculptures name Twisted Journey. The canopy is made from individual stainless steel leaves with integrated lighting. In the evening, LED bulbs emit from the tree's leafs creating a starry night effect. Through the center of the tree's base is a fire feature. A glass tube sits vertically in the center navigating fire through the center of the tree.
